~ Requirements ~

- A US copy of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Gamecube (ISO or GCM format)

- A way to play the patched ROM (Dolphin emulator or modded Gamecube/Wii)

~ Step 1: Configure Your Settings ~

Visit the Seed Generator page to customize your randomizer experience. You can adjust logic settings, world options, starting stats, and quality of life features. Hover over the question mark (?) icons to learn what each setting does.

Quick Start: Use one of the built-in presets (Default Settings, Beginner Mode, Expert Shuffle, or Race Settings) to get started quickly. You can also save your own custom presets for future use.

~ Step 2: Generate Your Seed ~

Click the "Generate Seed" button to create your randomized seed. The generator will calculate item placements based on your settings and ensure the seed is completable. This process typically takes a few seconds.

~ Step 3: Patch Your ROM ~

After generation, you'll be taken to the result page. Click "Select ROM File" and choose your TTYD ISO. Then click "Patch ROM" to apply the randomization to your game. The patching happens entirely in your browser - your ROM never leaves your computer.

~ Step 4: Download and Play ~

Once patching is complete, download your randomized ISO. You can also download a spoiler log that shows all item locations if you get stuck. Load the patched ISO in Dolphin or transfer it to your modded console and start playing!

~ Sharing Seeds ~

Each generated seed has a unique share URL that you can copy and send to friends. Anyone with the link can view the seed details and patch their own ROM with the same randomization. Shared seeds are stored for 60 days.
